Neuroscience Research Activities in HUB North
Prof Vivienne Russel leads research projects focussed on neurodegenerative disorders (e.g. Parkinson's Disease) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Assoc Prof Laurie Kellaway's main research interest is the neurophysiology and cellular architecture of the mammalian visual system. Dr Dirk Lang has research projects on comparative aspects of neural development, regeneration and degeneration in lower and higher vertebrates. All neuroscientists in the department have international collaborators and are publishing regularly in international journals.
