About us
The Division of Medical Physics provides support for the other divisions within Radiation Medicine and radiation protection support for the whole of Groote Schuur Hospital. The bulk of the work load is currently clinical support within Radiation Oncology, followed by Nuclear Medicine and Radiology. In addition structured physics lectures are given to registrars within the latter divisions who are studying towards specialisation and to radiation therapy therapists (radiographers) in training.
