28 Mar CET Seminar: Gamifying Lectures Gamification involves applying motivational techniques from computer games, such as leaderboards, ranks and achievement badges, to other activities - in this case teaching. This talk will show how gamification was applied to a UCT Computer Science course using Vula, and the benefits this had for lecture attendance and student engagement.
